What do I actually take every day?
It’s a question I get regularly.
There’s a difference between recommending something professionally and actually choosing to make it part of your own routine. When I talk about the products I personally use, I want to be clear about that distinction.
My current daily wellness routine includes several products from Purolabs, a UK supplement brand I appreciate for its focus on clean formulations, targeted nutrients and clinically informed dosages.
This isn’t a supplement stack designed to impress anyone. It is designed around one simple objective: supporting the physical foundation that allows me to keep doing everything else.
Here’s what I’m taking and why.
1. Vitamin D3 & K2
Vitamin D is one of the nutrients I pay particular attention to, particularly because I spend a significant amount of time in the UK.
Our bodies produce vitamin D when our skin is exposed to sunlight, but factors such as season, latitude, lifestyle, skin coverage and time spent indoors can affect how much vitamin D we produce.
That’s why vitamin D supplementation is particularly relevant during the darker months.
I choose Purolabs Vitamin D3 & K2 because the formula combines two nutrients involved in calcium metabolism.
Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium, while vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal blood clotting. K2 is also involved in the regulation of calcium-related proteins.
Rather than thinking about supplementation as taking isolated nutrients, I prefer looking at how nutrients work together within the body.
For me, D3 and K2 make sense as part of that approach.
2. Collagen Complex
Collagen is another consistent part of my routine.
Collagen is the body’s most abundant structural protein and is found throughout connective tissues, including skin, bones, tendons, ligaments and cartilage.
As we get older, natural collagen production declines. That doesn’t mean collagen supplements are a magic solution to ageing, but it does make collagen an interesting nutritional option for people thinking about long-term skin and connective tissue support.
Purolabs Collagen Complex uses marine collagen, which provides collagen peptides that can be incorporated into a broader nutritional routine.
What matters most to me is consistency.
I don’t expect a supplement to transform everything overnight. I look at supplementation as something that works alongside good nutrition, adequate protein, movement, sleep and other healthy habits.
The Purolabs Collagen Complex has also become one of the more popular products in their range, with more than 1,100 reviews highlighted on the product listing.
For me, it fits naturally into the bigger picture of supporting skin and connective tissue as I get older.
3. Biotic Complex
Then there’s gut health.
The more I learn about nutrition and whole-person wellbeing, the harder it becomes to ignore the importance of the gut microbiome.
The gastrointestinal tract is home to trillions of microorganisms that interact with digestion, metabolism and the immune system. The gut also communicates extensively with the brain through the gut-brain axis.
That doesn’t mean a probiotic is a cure-all.
It does mean that supporting a diverse and healthy gut microbiome deserves consideration as part of an overall wellness strategy.
Purolabs Biotic Complex is a multi-strain probiotic designed to provide a combination of beneficial bacterial strains.
This is one of those products where I think consistency matters more than chasing dramatic short-term results.
Your gut isn’t something you switch on when you have a problem. It is part of your everyday physiology.
4. Turmeric
The fourth part of my Purolabs routine is Turmeric.
Turmeric has a long history of traditional use, and modern research has focused extensively on curcumin, one of its key bioactive compounds.
I use turmeric primarily as part of my approach to general inflammation and joint support.
One feature I particularly look for in a turmeric supplement is piperine, an extract from black pepper that can increase the absorption of curcumin.
Purolabs combines turmeric with piperine in its formulation, making it a convenient option for incorporating curcumin into a daily routine.
Again, I’m not looking for a dramatic overnight effect.
I’m interested in the cumulative value of making sensible choices consistently.
Why These Four?
There is a reason my routine isn’t 15 or 20 different supplements.
I’m not interested in taking something simply because it’s trending.
My approach is much simpler:
What does my body need? What does the evidence suggest? And can I realistically take it consistently?
For me, these four products cover different areas of my everyday wellness priorities:
Vitamin D3 & K2 — nutritional support for vitamin D status and bone health
Collagen Complex — support for skin and connective tissue
Biotic Complex — support for gut microbiome health
Turmeric — nutritional support focused on antioxidant and inflammatory pathways
They aren’t replacements for a balanced diet.
They aren’t substitutes for sleep, exercise or medical care.
They’re simply tools that complement the fundamentals.
Supplements Work Best as Part of a Bigger Picture
One thing I always try to emphasise is that supplementation should never become an excuse to ignore the basics.
You cannot out-supplement a poor diet.
You cannot replace sleep with capsules.
And no supplement can compensate for consistently neglecting movement, stress management or overall lifestyle.
I see supplements as supporting players, not the entire team.
The foundation is still good food, adequate protein, hydration, regular movement, quality sleep and appropriate healthcare.
Where supplements fit is in helping address specific nutritional needs or providing nutrients that can be difficult to obtain consistently through diet and lifestyle alone.
Why Purolabs?
My decision to use Purolabs comes down to the overall approach.
The brand focuses on targeted formulations rather than unnecessary ingredients, and its products are manufactured in the UK.
I also appreciate the emphasis on transparent formulations and the company’s 60-day money-back guarantee.
For me, trust matters.
If I’m going to recommend something to my community, I want to be comfortable with what I’m recommending — not simply because it’s popular, but because the product and the philosophy behind it make sense to me.
My Wellness Routine Is About Function, Not Perfection
Ultimately, my daily stack isn’t about trying to achieve some impossible version of perfect health.
It’s about staying functional.
I have projects to build, people to serve, ideas to pursue and a lot of things I want to accomplish. That requires energy, resilience and taking care of the physical foundation underneath everything else.
That’s why my supplement routine is deliberately straightforward.
Eat well. Move regularly. Sleep properly. Learn continuously. Supplement intelligently.
Those principles are far more important than any individual product.
And if you’re considering adding supplements to your own routine, I’d always recommend understanding what you’re taking, why you’re taking it and whether it is appropriate for your individual circumstances. If you have a medical condition, take medication or have specific nutritional concerns, speak with a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new supplement.
